I was browsing in the
mccain_palin08 community this morning and found this great story posted by
bullamakanka ...
"Listening in on Dennis Prager this morning, a caller called in with a touching story. It actually brought tears to my eyes.
She had signs in her yard for one political party (unspecified), and her neighbour had signs in his yard for the opposing candidate.
Her signs were stolen. (I guess one can assume they were McCain signs, given the tradition).
While she was gone, her neighbor went down to the electoral office of her party (his opposite), got new signs and a bumper sticker. He set up the sign in her yard, in a respectable fashion. He then took the bumper sticker, applied it to one of those magnetic sheets (so as not to damage the paint), cut it out, and applied it to her car.
Wow."
Isn't it great to hear about something like that during a time when it feels like everyone's divided by their beliefs?
